We have certainly come a long way; we have to go further. Grade 11-12 programme was launched in Chamunda Secondary School in 2064 in a new socio-political environment incorporating the vision and mission of a republican state in our vision, mission and objectives. With the promulgation of the constitution in 2073, we updated and enriched our vision, mission, goals and objectives as reflected in our constitution. Now Chamunda Secondary School has achieved a firm, dependable and everlasting institutional ground, it is high time that we took specific and micro steps to translate our objectives into the overall transformation of our students as demanded by internal and external environment. Thus, we can say that we have definitely come a long way, but we have to go much further.

Read MoreHi, SEE Graduates!
Congratulations on your grand success in the SEE.
I am student of Chamunda Secondary School, presently doing Grade XII. I am here today with my experience to share with you as it is time that you are looking for a suitable school to join .It is generally accepted that school plays a very important role to make a person the way he/she is. School has an everlasting effect on the personality of a person. Therefore, choosing a school is so important.
The first thing I found in this school is that it has a strong institutional / infra-structural base. As a community school, its distinct place is secure among so many private / community schools which come up with high promises and advertisements. Congenial environment, homely atmosphere, friendly behavour of the school family towards students, experienced teachers, mature administration, gender friendly and inclusive culture and practices, among many others, are the features that make it distinct. You should not worry about anything once you join the school. A welcoming staff is always ready with warm helping hands. You know, it’s a school which represents the broader Nepali culture. This is my first hand experience of this school. But I believe students should be free to choose his /her destination.
Hi, Friends!
First of all, let me take this opportunity to extend my heartfelt congratulations to you on your grand success in the SEE . I believe that you will be making the best use of your time after the examination. A student is usually worried about choosing a suitable school for further studies as their own destination. A youngster like you, who has no experience in the field, is very likely to be attracted to the glittering things. Please remember, everything that glitters is not gold. I think my experience might be of some help for you in this regard.
I did my Grade XI from Chamunda Secondary School, Jorpati, Kathmandu.Presently I am doing Grade XII. Situated on the banks of the holy Bagmati, it is a community school with about two thousand students. At first, what had impressed me most was its environment. The wide area with green trees and colourful flowers looked like a beautiful garden. The newly built modern buildings were attractive. But later when I became familiar, what I liked most was the homely environment it provided. Everything here is informally formal. One can feel the warmth of teacher-student relationship based upon equality and sincerity. I have no hesitation to say that if you want to grow yourself on the real ground to compete in the world, this will be your best choice. But remember, choice is yours.
