We have certainly come a long way; we have to go further. This school had been established to foster the Academic Teaching Learning Environment for the community children of Jorpati Area at that time. Time keeps on ticking and now the interest & infrastructure both are developed to welcome all the needy students from ECD to Class 12. Local Community People has created this school as the most prioritized School of Eastern Region in Kathmandu District. So, from the beginning till now, students are accepting this school as their choice of interest for their complete school education hunger. After the success of delivering the quality Secondary Education, we moved forward.
After 4 decades of establishment, Class 11&12 program was launched in Chamunda Secondary School in 2064 B.S. in a new socio-political environment incorporating the vision and mission of a republican state in our vision, mission and objectives. With the promulgation of the constitution in 2073 B.S., we updated and enriched our vision, mission, goals and objectives as reflected in our constitution. Now Chamunda Secondary School has achieved a firm, dependable and everlasting institutional ground, it is high time that we took specific and micro steps to translate our objectives into the overall transformation of our students as demanded by internal and external environment. Our effort elongated proudly by adding the science subjects to the mainstream of Class 11 & 12 in 2082 B.S.
We are featuring this school for the bright students making the hub school of this region for all subjects: Science, Management, Education, Law & Humanities. Thus, we can say that we have definitely come a long way, but we have to go much further.
